After trading a selection of seashells (with accompanying texts) to fibre artist and author Emily Jan for one of her lovely sculptures, she realized that we had all the makings of a wonderful book!

This project was conceived and illustrated by Emily Jan and involved the bookbinding work of Cecile Coté. The project was supported by a grant from M.A.I. (Montréal, Arts Interculturels).
